Agriculture Minister Taher Harbi stressed that food security and the development of natural resources are among the most important components of the agricultural strategy implemented by the ministry, noting that this strategy includes the development of human resources to bridge the gap in agricultural production.
During the opening of the Sudan Agricultural Exhibition, in coordination with the Sudanese Company for Free Zones and Duty Free, with the participation of German and French companies, and more than 20 local companies, Harbi stressed that the exhibition contributes to transferring advanced technology and serving the agricultural sector. For his part, Minister of Investment Al-Hadi Mohamed commended his appreciation to the governments of France, Germany and Italy for their support of Sudan at the Paris conference and for its assistance in its integration into the international community. The Sudanese is well-developed in its overall indicators.
For his part, the general manager in charge of the Sudanese Company for Free Zones and Duty Free Shops, Abdel Wahab Mohamed, affirmed the company’s determination to move forward in sensing the needs of the national economy and organizing specialized exhibitions to shed light on economic activity and its prospects for development. Twenty local companies and companies from Germany, France and Italy will participate in the exhibition.
