It is said that Mata Hari once had the capitals of Europe on her feet. Were ministers, advisers, princes and industrialists and generals all crazy about it? She was an undisputed dancer and a celebrity of her time.

He was shot and executed on October 15, 1917, following his arrest and ‘charges’. It is known that Mata Hari forbade the firing squad from blindfolding her.

She was born in Leewarden, Netherlands. Margaret Zeila, of mixed race, was born in 1876 and is known as Mata Hari. It was a name derived from the Indonesian language where she lived with her husband after marriage at an early age. Her marriage did not last long and she ended the relationship and moved to France.

She was the daughter of a Dutch businessman who married him to a military officer, but Mata Hari, 26, broke up and moved to Paris. There, to fill her stomach, she resorted to her beauty and performances and started dancing in a club. Her beauty and semi-nude dance soon became known throughout Europe. And in later years, she was called a perfect dancer. But a few years later, he lost his temper. During this time her wealth also decreased and she became indebted. At this point in her life, Mata Hari decided to become a spy.

A German diplomat persuaded him to provide French secrets to the German government. Mata Hari was interested in money. She could still easily access high-ranking French officials and army officers with her belongings.

As the series unfolded, Mata Hari even considered raising money from the French secret services and presented himself as a spy. French authorities at one time suspected that she was working for the Germans. However, he was given several missions and at the same time he was monitored and one day he was arrested.
