Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in a statement on the status of corona virus said that 18323 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. As a result, 590 new cases were reported. While 6 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours.
He said that the total number of deaths has reached 7520. Today, 814 more patients have recovered. Thus, the total number of healthy people has reached 435061.
He said that so far 6190425 samples have been tested. So far 463838 cases have been reported and currently 21257 patients are undergoing treatment. Out of which 20958 patients are undergoing treatment in homes, 28 in isolation centers and 271 in different hospitals.
He said that the condition of 264 patients has been declared critical while 21 patients are on ventilators.
The Chief Minister said that out of 590 new cases in the province, 145 are related to Karachi. Of these, 52 new cases have been reported in South 52, Eastern District 28, Central District 26, Korangi 19, Malir and West.
Other districts include Kashmore 71, Badin 46, Hyderabad 44, Shaheed Benazirabad 33, Jamshoro 30, Tando Muhammad Khan 29, Sujawal 25, Sanghar 20, Mirpur Khas 19, Tando Allahyar 18, Tharparkar 17, Sukkur 13, Thatta 13, Ghotki 12. , Shikarpur 12, Umerkot 11, Jacobabad 10, Larkana 10 and Dadu 5 cases have been reported.
