Three persons were injured as a result of firing on a vehicle within the limits of I-9 police station in the federal capital Islamabad.
According to ARY News, unidentified persons opened fire on a vehicle within the limits of I-9 police station in Islamabad, as a result of which three persons were injured while the accused fled after the incident.
Police say the injured have been shifted to Pims Hospital for medical treatment.
According to police, the injured have been identified as Malik Tahir and Naveed while the driver was also injured in the firing.
Police say Malik Tahir and Naveed own a private society.
Police say evidence is being gathered from the scene.

It may be recalled that in July this year, the accused had shot dead his brother, sister-in-law and nephew in Shams Colony area of Islamabad.
Police said the shooting also injured a man who was taken to hospital for medical treatment.
According to the police, the accused had fled after the firing and raids are being carried out in search of him. Police said that the accused had fired on a dispute over a transaction.
