Alleged gang rape by picking up a woman from the street

In Sialkot, a woman was allegedly picked up from the street and gang-raped.

According to ARY News, a woman was allegedly picked up from the road and allegedly gang-raped within the limits of Sialkot’s Saddar police station.

According to the FIR, the husband parked the woman on the side of the road and went to a nearby petrol pump. When he returned a few minutes later, the five accused abducted the woman and took her away.

The victim said that the accused had abused her by drinking alcohol.

According to rescue sources, the accused threw the woman in Akbarabad Chowk and fled. The woman was shifted to a local hospital for medical treatment.

Police said that a case of the incident has been registered, the woman is undergoing medical treatment, more facts will come to light after investigation.

It may be recalled that on September 9, a 12-year-old girl was killed after alleged rape in Manchinabad Tehsil of Bahawalnagar.

Taking notice of the incident, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar had sought a report from the IG Punjab and ordered strict action against the accused.

Usman Bazdar also assured the affected family of speedy and complete delivery of justice.
