‘Inclusion of high-tech systems will help address threats’ –

Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the Army Air Defense Center Karachi and attended the inauguration ceremony of the Chinese-made HQ9P Weapon System in the Army Air Defense. The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) said that the inclusion of high-tech system would help in tackling the threats, adding that the link between Pakistan Air Force and Army Air Defense had made national defense invincible.

According to ISPR, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the Air Defense Center Karachi where he attended the inauguration ceremony of the Chinese-made HQ9P Weapon System into the Army Air Defense. General Hamoodul Zaman was briefed on the weapon system.

The High-to-Medium Air Defense System HQ9P Weapon System can engage its targets up to 100 km. Engages targets, HQ9P weapon system has made Pakistan’s air defense more invincible.
