A local court in Lahore has rejected the bail pleas of four accused accused of committing indecent acts with a woman in a rickshaw on the occasion of Independence Day.
Judicial Magistrate Hassan Sarfraz Cheema ruled on the bail application.
Lari Ada police registered a case against the accused. The police submitted a report and said that the four accused had misbehaved with the girl sitting in the rickshaw.
The accused are guilty. The victim girl had identified the accused by going to the jail. The accused were arrested by the police after the case was registered.
Accused Abdul Rehman (Usman) Atif and Irfan had applied for bail through their lawyers which was rejected by the court.
It should be noted that on Independence Day, another video of abuse of women in a rickshaw came to light, in which Obash youths continued to harass the women in the rickshaw.
The video shows Obash youths harassing and chasing women. Obash youths got off their motorcycles and got into a rickshaw and abused the woman while the women in the rickshaw picked up their shoes to save themselves. Lia, the child was also riding in the rickshaw with the women.
