RAWALPINDI: Two terrorists were killed in a security forces operation in North Waziristan.
According to the Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), security forces conducted an intelligence operation in the Datta Khel area of North Waziristan.
According to ISPR, two terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire during the operation.
A spokesman for the Pakistan Army said that weapons and ammunition were recovered from the hideout of the terrorists and an operation was underway to find more terrorists in the area.

It may be mentioned that two youths were martyred in a landmine blast during a clearance operation in North Waziristan recently.
The ISPR said the martyrs included 25-year-old soldier Zia Akram and 20-year-old Musaur Khan.
The ISPR said that the Pakistan Army had cordoned off the area and started searching for the terrorists. During the operation, one terrorist was killed while fleeing in an exchange of fire.
It may be recalled that on August 27, a terrorist was killed during a security forces operation in North Waziristan.
