Peshawar-Sharjah passenger arrested

PESHAWAR: Airport Security Force (ASF) recovered narcotics from the luggage of a passenger bound for Sharjah.

According to ARY News, the ASF stopped and searched the Sharjah-bound passenger at Bacha Khan International Airport in Peshawar on suspicion.

According to the ASF, Jalal Khan hid the marijuana in his shoes in a very angry manner. His attempt was thwarted by the professionals.

According to the ASF, 152 grams (half a pound 27 grams) of hashish was recovered from the luggage of a passenger traveling through a private Pakistani airline, which was seized and handed over to the ANF. The arrested passenger was identified as Jalal Khan.

The accused was handed over to the ANF for further action, including the recovered hashish, after a preliminary investigation, against which formal legal action will be taken.
