Prime Minister Imran Khan and Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation in which they discussed Afghanistan, bilateral cooperation and participation in the SCO summit.
This is the second telephone call between the two leaders in a week. The Prime Minister called for peace in Afghanistan for regional security and prosperity and said that Afghanistan needs to be saved from aid and economic crisis. Leave.
The two leaders also discussed Pak-Russia relations and the Prime Minister emphasized on increasing cooperation in various fields. The talks reaffirmed the commitment to further strengthen the overall relationship.
The Prime Minister requested for early completion of the gas pipeline project and once again invited Russian President Putin to visit Pakistan. President Putin also invited Prime Minister Imran Khan to visit Russia. During the talks, the two leaders agreed to stay in close touch.
