Dr. Faisal Sultan, Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan for Health, said that Pakistan would cooperate for the betterment of the health sector in Afghanistan.

In a statement, Dr. Faisal Sultan, Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan for Health, said that the priorities in the health sector would be determined by the Afghan authorities.

“We will ask the Afghan authorities to clarify their priorities in the health sector,” he said.

According to federal officials, Pakistan can help Afghanistan with the prevention and vaccination of corona virus, Pakistan can also help Afghanistan with the health of women and children.

The Islamic Development Bank has approached Pakistani institutions to improve health facilities in Afghanistan.

The University of Health Sciences will train Afghan medical staff in collaboration with the Lahore Islamic Development Bank.

The Federal Health Services Academy will also work to improve health facilities in Afghanistan.

At present, hundreds of patients from Afghanistan are coming to Pakistan daily for treatment, federal officials added.

According to Pakistani officials, the coronavirus vaccination situation in Afghanistan is very bad.
