RAWALPINDI: Former national cricket team coaches Misbah-ul-Haq and Waqar Younis-related wicketkeeper-batsman Muhammad Rizwan broke the silence.

According to details, national team wicketkeeper-batsman Muhammad Rizwan paid tributes to former coaches Misbah-ul-Haq and Waqar Younis.

Mohammad Rizwan said that you are both going to start a new journey of your lives, so Misbah and Waqar Bhai have many prayers for both of you for this journey.

The wicketkeeper-batsman said that both of you will always be remembered for your sincerity, cooperation, guidance and love.
Mohammad Rizwan also thanked Waqar and Misbah for their services to the national team.

It may be recalled that national team head coach Misbah-ul-Haq and bowling coach Waqar Younis had abruptly resigned in recent days, after which former cricketers Thaqleen Mushtaq and Abdul Razzaq were appointed interim coaches in the New Zealand series.

Yesterday, PCB chairman Rameez Raja appointed former Australian opener Matthew Hayden as batting coach and former South African bowler Vernon Flanders as bowling coach for the T20 World Cup.
