Abu Dhabi: A robotic officer has been added to the police department of Umm Al Quwain in the United Arab Emirates, which will investigate various crimes.
According to local media, the said robotic police officer was introduced at Expo 2020. The project was inaugurated by Major General Sheikh Rashid bin Ahmed, Commander-in-Chief of Umm Al-Quwain Police.
The job of this robotic police officer is to investigate crimes against children.
The robot started operating on October 3 after 3 years of training experience, during which it achieved impressive results in the investigation of crimes against children.
The Commander-in-Chief said that this project is a glimpse of the future and an effort towards the implementation of artificial intelligence in all fields.
