Yesterday morning, the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters signed a protocol with the Indian Embassy for the celebration of the 60th anniversIG of the establishment of Kuwaiti-Indian relations.
In his speech during the signing ceremony at the Kuwait National LibrIG, the SecretIG-General of the Council, Kamel Al-Abdul-Jalil, said that India has a special place in Kuwait and has been linked since ancient times, and this is represented by the international trade lines and the supply of all the commodities required by life in the country.
He explained that the activities of the cultural program are full of cultural and artistic activities and extend until mid-June.
For his part, Indian Ambassador Sibi George said that the program includes a variety of cultural and artistic cooperation with the council.
He added that the 60th anniversIG of bilateral relations is an important occasion in the field of friendship and cooperation between the two countries and is based on the visions of their supreme leadership and the rapprochement of the two peoples.
