– Al-Shaya: The project targets 3,000 families of widows, orphans and the needy
Al-Safa Humanitarian Charity Association launched the “Warmth of Winter” project for this year in the Kyrgyz Republic, with the onset of winter and the temperature dropping to minus 30 degrees, in order to provide coal, heating materials and winter clothing for widows, orphans, the poor and needy who are in dire need of assistance and assistance.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Al-Safa Charitable Humanitarian Association, Muhammad Al-Shaya, said that this project, which is considered one of the seasonal projects implemented by the association in the Kyrgyz Republic, is a kind of social solidarity among Muslims, citing the words of the Prophet, peace be upon him: “A believer to a believer is like a building that strengthens each other.” The association is keen to launch this project annually, as the temperature drops very dramatically in the Kyrgyz Republic, with the spread of poverty and the lack of heating devices in those poor villages.
Al-Shaya explained that the project targets 3,000 families of widows, orphans and the needy, where heating materials will be distributed from coal, winter clothing and blankets, adding that the cost of a ton of coal is 30 dinars, and winter clothing is 15 dinars, while the cost of the blanket is 8 dinars.
He called on all benefactors, benefactors and company owners to contribute to the relief of their brothers in Kyrgyzstan, saying, “They cry out for these merciful hearts and white hands to relieve them of the harsh winter cold, and contribute to drawing a smile on the faces of widows, the needy and orphans, and bringing happiness to their hearts, in application of the principle of solidarity, and in order to extend a helping hand.” And assistance to everyone in need, by making a donation by calling the hotline dedicated to inquiries and donations from the honorable supporters, through the website, or by visiting the association’s headquarters in the Al-Siddiq area.
