Sudan and Turkey sign a protocol for sperm production and insemination

Today, in the secretariat of the government of the state of Al-Jazirah Boudamdani, a protocol was signed for the development of the Sudanese-Turkish center for sperm production and artificial insemination. The Wali of Gezira State signed on behalf of the Sudanese side, while Bilal Ozlan, coordinator of the Turkish Coordination and Cooperation Institution “TIKA”, signed on behalf of the Turkish side, in the presence of Mr. Ismail Awad Allah Al-Aqib, SecretIG General of the state government, and Dr. Safaa Abdul Rahman, Director of the Center.

Dr. Safaa Abdel Rahman explained that this protocol aims to supplement the shortcomings in the center and make records of births of improved and hybrid breeds and access to the center to obtain a quality certificate so that it can export sperm to all parts of the world, adding that the protocol lasts for 5 years.

Mr. Bilal Ozlan, coordinator of the Turkish Foundation for Coordination and Cooperation, valued the long and eternal relations between Sudan and Turkey, and said that the island and its capabilities, capabilities and human resources are key to development in Sudan, declaring TIKA’s readiness to move forward in technical and vocational training projects, industry and agriculture, in addition to producing good breeds. of calves.

For his part, the governor of Al-Jazeera referred to the relationship of Sudan and Turkey, describing it as distinct and rooted, which serves the two brotherly peoples, and said that the development of the sperm production center is a qualitative leap in the success of smart partnerships with the Turkish side.

He said that the Turkish support is witnessed and continuous in all fields, especially after the glorious December revolution and the integration of Sudan with the international community. He added that the sperm production center has a high artistic and scientific value, and it is hoped that a major development in livestock in Sudan will take place.
